USDA and DESE FNS Update

September 10, 2020

Concordia R-II Community:

Due to an extension of a federally funded program that we participated in last spring, beginning September 14th the Concordia School District will be providing free meals (breakfast & lunch) to all students.  This will be available through December 18th(last day of 1st semester) for our district or until the federal funds are exhausted.  We will update you if that should occur before December 18th.  Parents do not need to sign anything to enroll students in the program that are already attending school in person.  This will happen automatically, and their balances will remain unchanged until the end of this program unless they purchase extras or ala cart items which will still be charged at the regular rate.

For children ages 1-18 that are not attending the Concordia R-II School District and would like to participate, please have a parent call the Concordia High School Office (660-463-2246) or visit the district website and complete the online form (Click Here for Form ) by Friday 10:00am to be able to participate in the grab & go meals (no dine-in option for non-students) for the following week.  Meal pick-up for students not attending the district schools in person will take place on each Monday, or the first day of the week we are in attendance, at the High School Office from 10:00-11:00am.  Breakfast and lunch will be available for the entire week at that time only, there will not be meals available for pick up at any other time or day of the week.

Sincerely,

Brent Cooper
Superintendent of Schools
