Education: I attended elementary and high school in the Wellington-Napoleon R-9 school district. I have a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Central Missouri in Instrumental Music Education with certification in Vocal Music Education and emphasis in Piano. Experience: I have been teaching music since 2001. Prior to Concordia, I taught K-6 music in the Sedalia #200 school district, 5th grade music at Fire Prairie Middle School in the Fort Osage school district, and K-6 music, elementary band, and gifted and talented class in the Santa Fe school district. I began teaching vocal music at Concordia in 2004. I am currently teaching K-6 Music at CES and I am the A+ Coordinator at CHS. Family: I have been happily married to Michael Brown since 2000 and we have two adult children. Hobbies: I enjoy reading, going for walks, volunteering at church, playing the piano, and traveling.
