Education: 1995-Park Hill High School; 1999- Bachelor of Arts in History with minor and certification in social studies secondary education; 2008 - Masters in Education, MidAmerica Nazarene University; 2013-Education Specialist Degree, University of Central Missouri.  I am currently certified in the state of Missouri to teach 5-12 Social Science, 5-12 English/Language Arts, and K-12 Mild to Moderate Special Education.

Experience: I have been teaching since 2001. I taught in the Grandview and Raytown School Districts before moving to Marshall, Missouri and serving there for seven years.  I have taught a wide variety of subjects to grade levels 6-12.    

Family: I am married to my wonderful husband Gary.  We have one daughter.  

Hobbies: In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, crafting, decorating, being outside, and petting my cat!
