The learner will be able to evaluate efforts by individuals, such as Carrie Chapman Calt, during the early 20th century to obtain gender equity. LEARNER OBJECTIVES: 1) identify historical women, including the First Ladies; 2) analyze a specific woman's role in history; 3) analyze women of different racial and social groups in various reform movements prior to the Civil War.
