Welcome to 5th grade! This year is going to be one of many changes in our classroom as well as around our school. Many construction projects are underway, which will result in many improvements to our building and grounds. The fifth and sixth grade teachers have a new schedule this year that should be exciting as well as beneficial to all of our students. This year, we will begin our day with specials, followed by math, then science and social studies. In the afternoon, we will be focusing on language arts, which includes reading, spelling, English and phonics.

Each week, I will update what you can expect our classroom to be working on. It may not be exact assignments, but will give you an idea of where we are headed. Feel free to e-mail me with questions or you may call me at school             (660) 463-2261.
