Foster Home
Thank you for helping to spread the word about the need for foster families in your community. Your willingness to share information with families within the Concordia R-II School District is critical to the success of our recruitment efforts. Currently, Judicial Circuit 15 (which comprises Lafayette and Saline counties) has 96 children in foster care and only 34 licensed homes. Our goal is to increase the number of foster homes in each county so that foster children can stay within their own community.
To that end, Healthy Families is once again hosting an information meeting that is open to anyone interested in foster parenting. ( Click here for flier.)

Please share this information with families within your school district. The flier can be placed in newsletters, on websites, on social media sites, and any place else you can think of.
Additionally, Healthy Families will be hosting information meetings once a quarter in each circuit. We will send more information as your next date approaches.
